About me
I have been a potter for many years, starting when I was in my twenties. I took breaks along the way when life got too busy, but always returning to it. Like gravity weighs us to the ground, clay continues to pull me back to it and for that I am grateful.
In 2019, I fulfilled my dream of building my very own studio from the ground up. Working wiith both stoneware and porcelain, I meticulously fire my creations to Cone 6, resulting in durable and stunning pieces. While pottery was once a side passion for me, 2021 marked a significant shift in my career path as I transitioned away from healthcare leadership to fully embrace my identity as a professional ceramic artist.
In 2023, I embarked on a new journey, sharing my pottery expertise with adults through teaching at a local pottery studio called Indigo Fire. The experience has been immensely rewarding, allowing me to impart knowledge, foster creativity, and cultivate a deep appreciation of the art of pottery.
